Kamala Harris, the current Vice President of the United States, is a controversial figure in American politics. As speculation grows about potential candidates for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) presidential nominee in 2024, Joe Biden has given his endorsement), Harris's name is often at the forefront of the conversation. However, upon closer examination, it becomes clear that Harris may not be the best choice for the DNC presidential nominee in 2024. There are several reasons why Harris is unfit for this role, including her questionable record as a prosecutor, lack of strong policy achievements, and inability to inspire confidence among voters.

One of the key reasons why Harris may be unfit to be the DNC presidential nominee in is her controversial record as a prosecutor. During her time as District Attorney of San Francisco and later as California's Attorney General, Harris faced criticism for her tough approach to crime with critics charging that many African-Americans were more often prosecuted and imprisoned than other groups. This has raised concerns among many progressives who question whether Harris truly represents their values and interests.

Furthermore, Harris's lack of strong policy achievements is another reason why she may not be the best choice. Despite being in politics for many years, Harris has yet to enact any significant legislative accomplishments that have had a lasting impact on the lives of Americans. This lack of concrete achievements could make it difficult for Harris to differentiate herself from other candidates and make a compelling case for why she should be the Democrat presidential nominee.

Additionally, Harris's inability to inspire confidence among voters is a major concern for her chances of becoming the DNC presidential nominee in 2024. Throughout her political career, Harris has often been criticized for appearing insincere and opportunistic, causing many to question her motives and trustworthiness. This lack of trust could significantly hinder Harris's ability to connect with voters and mobilize support for her candidacy.

Another reason why Harris may be unfit for the DNC presidential nominee in 2024 is her perceived lack of vision and leadership. While Harris has articulated some general policy priorities, such as criminal justice reform and healthcare, she has yet to lay out a comprehensive and bold vision for how she would govern as president. This lack of a clear agenda could make it difficult for Harris to rally support from both the Democratic base and undecided voters.

Furthermore, Harris's performance as Vice President under the Biden administration has also raised questions about her readiness to lead the country. While Harris has been tasked with overseeing important issues such as immigration and voting rights, her handling of these challenges has been criticized as lackluster and ineffective, i.e. the southern border. This track record does not bode well for Harris's ability to navigate the complexities of the presidency and effectively address the myriad issues facing the country, not to mention many of her answers to questions make no sense along with her nervous laugh

In addition, some have raised concerns about Harris's electability as the nominee. Despite being the first woman of color to hold the office of Vice President, Harris has struggled to mobilize support among key demographics such as young voters and working-class Americans. This could be a significant liability for Harris in a general election, where she would need to appeal to a broad and diverse coalition of voters in order to win. Harris’s polling numbers are dismal.

Moreover, Harris's handling of the crisis at the southern border has been a source of controversy and criticism. Many have accused Harris of failing to address the root causes of migration and offer concrete solutions to the humanitarian crisis at the border. This failure to effectively manage this critical issue raises questions about Harris's ability to handle other complex challenges as president.

Furthermore, Harris's perceived lack of authenticity and relatability is another reason why she may be unfit for the DNC presidential nominee in 2024. Harris has often been criticized for coming across as overly scripted and calculated, with some questioning whether she truly connects with everyday Americans. This lack of authenticity could make it difficult for Harris to build a genuine connection with voters and inspire enthusiasm for her candidacy.

Lastly, Harris's ability to unify the Democratic Party and bring together its various factions is also a concern for her candidacy in 2024. Harris has at times faced criticism from both the progressive and moderate wings of the party, as some view her as too moderate while others see her as too progressive. This lack of a clear and consistent ideological stance could make it difficult for Harris to bridge the divide within the Democratic Party and build a broad coalition of support.

With Democrat chaos in full view of the voting public and former President Donald Trump’s poll numbers surging, Harris will be facing an uphill battle and an electorate ready for a return back to the American Dream.
