CT Gov. Ned Lamont Mocked for "Capital" Signs: Not fooling Anyone
It appears Connecticut Ned Lamont wants you to know that everything in the state is going well.
If you live and/or work in Connecticut, you know very well that last statement is not true. Not even close. As a Democrat majority led state, Lamont and Hartford continue their quest to make Connecticut a place where you might want to visit (maybe) but not live or work. Most Nutmeggers will tell you it's difficult to keep pace with the cost of living, high taxes, failing schools and the far-left leaning destructive policies that have a lot of people scratching their heads and mocking Lamont altogether.
Governor Lamont Unveils New 'Welcome To Connecticut' Interstate Highway Signs Read
With all the problems created by Democrats and enabled by establishment Republicans, Lamont decided to distract from the issues and plant some signs around the state on highways that border nearby states. This one should have some interesting reactions from Chicago and New York City, among other locales.

Connecticut residents are more interested in lowering costs, taxes and growing businesses, not erecting useless signs, at taxpayer expense mind you. Hartford believes we will forget all the problems the state is facing. Residents are facing difficult financial choices with many opting to leave the state. According to U.S. Census figures, 200,291 Connecticut residents have fled for other states since 2010, a time during which Connecticut’s economy has struggled to keep up with the rest of the country.

The Eversource "Public Benefits" scandal continues to grow with taxpaying residents having to shell out more of their hard-earned money in the name of "equity." As businesses and residents continue to flee the state for friendlier red states, Connecticut's tax base continues to shrink as do business profits and jobs. Apparently, none of these matters to Hartford.
