Recent recording of an informal panel discussion in Greenwich, where various local officials and community leaders discuss the town's form of government and ways in which elected officials, professional staff, and volunteers serve the public. The panel is led by Janet Stone Mcgan, a member of the board of Selectmen, and features Judith Schultz, the president of the Greenwich newcomers club, Sandy Waters, the president of the League of Women Voters of Greenwich, Alexis Vulgaris, the moderator of the representative town meeting, and Margarita, the chair of the Planning and Zoning commission.

The panelists talk about the history of Greenwich's form of government, the responsibilities of different municipal bodies, and ways in which residents can get involved in local governance. They also discuss the importance of community involvement and making meaningful connections through organizations like the Greenwich newcomers club. The discussion aims to provide information and clarify any confusion about the town's government structure for both new residents and longtime community members.

Not included are how elected officials and appointees deviate from their oaths and appointments. Why is that?
