Local RTCs are in Desperate Need of America First

America First candidates have been gaining momentum in recent years, advocating for a more nationalist populist, protectionist and common-sense approach to governing. These candidates prioritize the needs and interests of the American people above all else and believe that the United States should prioritize its own citizens when making decisions on policies and legislation. In order to effectively advance their agenda, voters supporting America First policies and candidates should consider running for their local Republican Town Committee (RTC).

Local RTCs play a crucial role in shaping the direction of the Republican Party at the local grassroots level. They are responsible for selecting candidates to run for office, organizing campaign efforts, and mobilizing voters in their community. By running for their local RTC, America First voters can ensure that the America First message and platform are represented in the decision-making process within the party.

Before throwing your hat in the ring, we would like to briefly share what the RTC is and how local citizens fit in:

The local Republican Town Committee is a key component of the Republican Party's organizational structure at the local level. It is made up of individuals who are elected, via a caucus or primary (if necessary), to represent the Republican Party in a specific town or municipality. The purpose of the committee is to promote the Republican Party's platform and values, support Republican candidates in local elections, and engage with the community on behalf of the party.

One of the main responsibilities of the local RTC is to recruit and support Republican candidates for local office. This includes identifying potential candidates, assisting with campaign strategy and fundraising, and organizing campaign events and activities. The committee plays a crucial role in helping to elect Republicans to local offices such as town Boards, head of local government, Board of Education and other local electable offices.

In addition to supporting candidates, the local RTC also works to promote the party's platform and values within the community. This may involve organizing events, fundraisers district RTC meetings, forums, and debates to discuss important issues and showcase Republican viewpoints. The Greenwich RTC is made up of members who are passionate about conservative principles and are committed to advocating for policies that align with their beliefs.  As a key player in local politics, the RTC works to recruit and support Republican candidates for various political offices in Greenwich. By endorsing candidates who share their values, the committee aims to ensure that the Republican Party has a strong presence in town government and that as a key player in local politics, the RTC works to recruit and support Republican candidates for various political offices in Greenwich and that conservative viewpoints are represented in decision-making processes.
