Tren de Aragua, loosely translated as “Aragua Train,” is a violent gang from Venezuela, which has made its presence known in the United States in recent years. The gang, which originated in the Aragua state of Venezuela, has gained a reputation for its involvement in drug trafficking, extortion, and other criminal activities. As the gang has expanded its operations into the United States, it has attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies across the country, including Connecticut and the media.

The origins of the gang can be traced back to the mid-2000s, when a group of inmates at Tocorón prison in Aragua formed an alliance to protect themselves from rival gangs within the prison walls. Over time, the Tren de Aragua gang expanded its reach beyond the confines of the prison and established a significant presence in the state of Aragua, as well as in other parts of Venezuela. The gang is known for its brutal tactics and willingness to use violence to achieve its goals. While law enforcement and federal agencies attempt to combat their activities, Democrat led cities and states have taken a more laissez faire approach and allow such activities to continue citing “racism, equity” and “socialist” agendas.

Despite the efforts of law enforcement agencies, Tren de Aragua remains a formidable presence in the United States. The gang's well-established connections in Venezuela, access to firearms, and willingness to use violence make it a difficult adversary for law enforcement. The Tren de Aragua, a notorious prison gang in Venezuela, has recently made headlines for taking over a housing complex in Aurora, Colorado. This brazen move has raised concerns about the influence and reach of international criminal organizations in the United States, particularly in vulnerable communities, and why the Biden-Harris Administration refuses to close the border.

The gang's involvement in the Colorado housing complex signals a new era of transnational crime, in which gangs from developing countries are able to infiltrate and control key sectors of the economy in more developed nations. However, we continue to note that Democrat policies across the country hinder any really action that law enforcement might initiate and bring for prosecution.

Unfortunately, the current administration has no intention on combatting this problem, much of which they themselves have caused. Additionally, the global elites who head their respective nations and find themselves in similar situations are also allowing illegal aliens into their countries and allow free reign for them while arresting and prosecuting law-abiding citizens who call out and protest violence in their neighborhoods. Together, very little is being done because of a socialist and globalist agenda.

Moreover, the Tren de Aragua's involvement in the Colorado housing problem underscores the importance of addressing underlying social and economic factors that contribute to the proliferation of organized crime. Poverty, corruption, lack of opportunities, and weak governance structures create fertile ground for criminal organizations to thrive and expand their operations. To effectively combat transnational crime, governments must address these root causes and implement policies that promote economic development, and good governance. Democrat and socialist policies and agendas prevent even a proper intervention before these types of violent crimes and activities even occur.

The takeover in Colorado has raised serious concerns about the effectiveness of the state government in preventing such incidents.  It is deeply troubling that they were able to take over a house in Colorado without the government being able to stop them. One of the key responsibilities of any government is to ensure the safety and security of its citizens. In the case of the Tren de Aragua house take over, it is clear that the Colorado government failed in this regard. The fact that a known criminal organization was able to gain control of a property in the state is a clear indication that there were serious lapses in security and law enforcement.

Furthermore, the fact that the Tren de Aragua were able to operate with impunity in Colorado raises questions about the effectiveness of the state's law enforcement agencies. It is unacceptable that a criminal gang from another country was able to establish a presence in Colorado and carry out criminal activities without being apprehended by the authorities. The failure of the Colorado government to stop the Tren de Aragua house takeover is particularly concerning given the potential dangers posed by criminal organizations. The Tren de Aragua is known for its involvement in drug trafficking, extortion, and other violent crimes. Allowing such a group to operate within the state puts the safety and security of Colorado residents at risk.
